I've had the privilege to speak at many events throughout my career so far. I love giving back to the design community and being able to connect with attendees to share knowledge and experiences.

To cut to the chase, unless your event is an unpaid and not-for-profit event, I'm not available to speak for free. Reach out at team@femke.design to book.
Virtual (private)
I'd be more than happy to come and deliver a presentation to your team. This usually consists of a 30 min presentation along with Q&A time. As these are private, virtual events just for your team, these sessions cost $500.
In person
My base line speaking rate starts at $1,000 for a 30-60 minute talk. This covers my time preparing and presenting during your event. I also add the cost of 3 attendee tickets. For example if your event costs $100 to attend, I will add $300 to this rate, meaning the total cost is $1,300.
I'm not able to attend any in-person speaking events from October 2023 – May 2024.

You can often find her creating videos about design over on YouTube, sharing her thoughts on Instagram, podcasting on Design Life or hosting livestreams or mentor sessions. She's passionate about giving back and teaching what she knows to the next generation of designers.
Outside of work she enjoys hiking, mountain biking, camping, spending time with her dog (Kaya). Recently she's been getting into pottery. She currently lives on Vancouver Island, Canada.
